Today I:


  • Re-typed and then cut down a few of my audition monologues. (30ish mins)
  • Edited a scan of one of my auditions songs in photoshop because it's not in an editable format. This included cutting down the sheet music, splicing it together digitally, and then cutting and shifting things to make them line up vertically so as to match some of the music notation conventions. (30 mins)
  • Researched and sourced another audition song, and worked on cutting it down. (20 mins)

Today I: Updated my Common app to remove some colleges from my list (Otterbein, The New School, Marymount Manhattan, etc.) and to include new ones from the showcase/fair I did over the break (UCO, TCU, Centenary, etc.) and then filled out the information for each of them. (35 min) Began work on my new Common App essay, because I decided to scrap the old one. (50 min)
